I
PRIMĂVARA
I
SPRING
calde adieri –
orbul pipăind atent
mugurii pe ram
warm breeze –
the blind man carefully fingering
the buds on the twig
*
bat clopotele –
prin pâlcul de ghiocei
zefirul serii
the bells ringing –
through the cluster of snowdrops
the evening’s zephyr
*
zorii se varsă –
cântatul cocoşilor
umple tot satul
the dawn flows over –
the song of roosters
filling the village
*
iar primăvară –
orbul inspiră intens
culoarea verde
springtime again –
the blind man breathing deeply
the green color
*
noua vecină –
de florile mărului
mă uit peste gard
the new neighbour –
for the apple tree flowers
I look over the fence
*
fluturi în stomac –
la reverul rochiței
primul mărțișor
butterflies in stomach –
on the lapel of the dress
first spring gift
*
eclipsa lunii –
rochița înstelată
zăcând pe podea
Moon eclipse –
the stary dress
laying on the floor
*
„melc, melc codobelc!” –
pe cochilia spartă
lacrimi de copil
„Snail, snail, little snail!” –
on the broken shell
baby tears
*
Calea Lactee –
petalele de cireş
ornează drumul
the Milky Way –
the cherry petals
decorate the street
*
Marea Galbenă –
prin lanul de rapiță
vântul jucăuş
Yellow Sea –
through the rape flowers
the playful wind
*
castani înfloriți –
pe bulevard s-au aprins
candelabrele
chestnut blossom –
on the avenue illumined
the chandeliers
*
poveşti pescăreşti –
chiar şi năvodul cusut
cu ață albă
stories about fishing –
even the trammel being sewn
with white thread
*
taina mareei –
năpădită de stele
întreaga plajă
the tide`s mystery –
overgrown with stars
the entire beach
*
fluturi de noapte –
cernută printre aripi
lumina lunii
night butterflies –
sifting through the wings
the moonlight
*
jocul ielelor –
prin ia de borangic
sâni feciorelnici
wicked fairies games –
through the silk shirt
the pure brests
*
mălini înfloriți –
mama își aranjează
părul din tâmple
henna blossoms –
the mother combing
the hair on her temples
*
rondul de noapte –
parfumul iasomiei
colindă satul
the Night Watch –
the perfume of jasmine
wanders through the village
